Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. Her childhood was spent listening to traditional Boleros from the past and traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana is a fan of tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas and any form drama. Her mother taught her to sing, but she started intensive singing lessons through Flavio Belcerra at 16 when Belcerra was an internationally acclaimed Mexican opera Tenor. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a student and professional. After moving from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. as a music teacher and musician she has volunteered for various community-based projects because of her love and love for music. Ana is also a past member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for being able to share her love and enthusiasm for traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to inspire a passion particularly among the younger generation, to help keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
