Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig in September 21, 1983. She is an American actor best known for her character Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV series Lost. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington located in Ohio dropped out of high school, and relocating in Los Angeles after her divorced parents. She was struggling to survive when she got her first role in acting as Rachel's Room's leading character. Her portrayal as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder, in the television movie Murder In Greenwich in 2002 earned her nominations for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford played Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons in 2004, and was awarded a Screen Actors Guild Award (with all the other actors) with her. Grace left the show to focus on her professional film work. She had appeared alongside Tom Welling opposite in The Fog back in 2005. The following year, she appeared as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well as, alongside Liam Neeson's Kim Mills as Kim Mills for Taken. She reprised her role in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the lead role Alice on Malice in Wonderland a modern adaptation of Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played the role of Shannon in Lost, including the finale. She was in 2013 for the sixth episode of Californication. She plays Faith who's both a star-gazer and socialite. She is a Gyllenhaal. She's the daughters of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), as well as more senior that Jake Gyllenhaal. The first time she appeared in films starring her father in his adolescent years. With her brother, she was also on the screen in Donnie Darko (2000). Later, she was in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). The leading roles of Gyllenhaal in Secretary, an erotico-romantic comedy, as well as Sherrybaby (a film) earned her nominations for Golden Globe Award.
